On our swamp buggy echo tour, the bus driver was kind enough to catch a baby alligator and let everyone pet it. She warned us not to get close to it's head because it could shred the muscles and tendons in your finger with its 80 sharp teeth! That really made me want to pet it! I very swiftly touched it and was actually surprised at how smooth it felt - not rough and bumpy like I thought it would. These are the pictures of the boys petting the alligator.
