We were at a park that was next to a power plant. It had a river as part of the park and because it is next to the power plant the water was really warm. When manatees get cold, they swim and hang out in the warm water at the park. We literally saw 2 dozen females with calves. It was so neat. Here is a picture of a mom and her baby. They look and move a lot like submarines.
