Rylan's Friend Birthday Party

Rylan celebrated his 5th birthday by having his first his friend party today. He had a Star Wars party theme. We bought blow-up light sabers (so kids wouldn't get hurt if they got hit) and decided to put them through Jedi training. We started off by having the kids use their light sabers to keep a balloon from hitting the ground. Next, we did a physical training. We set up an obstacle course in the back yard. Finally, they used the "force" to raise the garage door. They had no clue that Jason was hiding the garage door opener in his pocket. They were so funny to watch - they had their hands pointed at the garage door and as it raised up they yelled "We're doing it! We are really Jedis!" I forgot to take a picture of them doing that. We then had a Darth Vader pinata and finished it up by having cake and ice cream and opening presents. Rylan told me "this is the best birthday EVER!"
