My Dad's 60th birthday was last December, but didn't want to celebrate it until this summer so that my entire immediate family (plus Grandpa) could go to Stanley, Idaho, which is about as beautiful a place in Idaho as you'll ever get. These are a few photos of our trip there. We played in the lake and beach, played a game of horseshoes, listened to Danton, Dad, and Aaron (Lara's husband) play the guitar around a campfire, rode 4-wheelers, etc.
For those of you who don't know, my Dad has lost 150 pounds over the last 2 years, and my mom is back to her skinny minny self at a size 2. My Dad still wants to lose another 50 to reach his goal and we are all very proud of him. He has pretty much reversed his type 2 diabetes and feels great!
